About Buhera RDC
Buhera Rural District Council is a local authority created in terms of the Rural District Councils Act (Chapter 29:13). Buhera Rural District Council is in Manicaland province.
The district covers an area of 5,363 km² and has a population of 271,920 (2022 census). It is bordered by Hwedza on the Northern side, Chikomba on the Northwest, Gutu on the West, Bikita on the Southwest, Chipinge on the South and Mutare on the East. There are 33 wards, a Growth Point and a Town Board.
